I believe once the healthcare debate becomes more clear and a direction looks certain, the topic of cost will come to the front of the discussion and options will be discussed. I don't think anyone is ready to say "robots" are the answer to save on healthcare costs, especially with jobless rate still an issue. However, jobs will increase and this WILL become a viable topic. Not to mention the aging population and the unstoppable force called technological advance. While my parents might not be able to comprehend a "carebot" following them around today. I'll be insulted if I don't have several robots running around my house reminding me to turn in my fantasy football team on time when i get old.
