I have not read the links you supplied, but I wonder if the following...

Lactose Intolerance is most often caused by the deficient ability
to produce lactase enzyme to digest lactose (milk sugar).

... is being considered to alert the high percentage of people
that treated milk that only changes the sugar description
will allow one to consume milk without the nasty after effects
that they now experience.

For myself I drink LACTAID® Milk rather than others liquids
like soda that many consume without their awareness on what
may be serious health side effects.

Do an iHub search on member Zeev Hed for details using
search words like soda, calcium and phosphoric acid.

Only one danger I found using Lactaid Dietary Supplements,
it allows me to eat at one sitting a full ½ gallon of ice cream
and not have any nasty digestive problems :o)
