The AMD warning was expected by most people on this thread.

However the 'Droids were in a persistent denial mode.

The big problem I have is the AMD management. They are warning one week after the AMD quarter has closed. This is not a warning, but more of a post fact notification. It says AMD management has zero forecast ability, even a few weeks into the future ! No one else appears to have this problem !

Maybe the Spansion joint venture is making it more difficult to predict sales and profits. This indicates a weak management and it needs to get fixed.

The Droids can be absolved from some of the blame. I guess if Intel did not warn, would not Intel investors continue to ignore other signs of problems ? Luckily we all hold the Intel management to a higher standard.
