ASGA, Professional Golf Events, and the NFL Players Association Combine To Conduct NFL Players Association Celebrity Pro Am
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C., May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ASGA, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ASGA - News) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, ASGA Tour, Inc., in conjunction with Professional Golf Events and the NFL Players Association, Nashville Chapter, will be conducting the NFL Players Association Celebrity Pro-Am on June 26-27, 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will be comprised of thirty-six (36) ASGA Tour Pros, celebrities, and special guests. The event kicks off with an "Inside-the- Ropes" VIP Reception on Wednesday evening, June 26, followed by golf clinics, skills competition, and the Tournament on Thursday, June 27. Immediately following the conclusion of the event, there will be a Hall of Fame Dinner for the participants.
"This event is a cooperative effort between Professional Golf Events, NFL Players Association, and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. We are pleased to be a part of activities which will raise funds for the Children's Hospital. I anticipate that this event will be expanded to a full ASGA Tour event in 2003.
