I do not fault him for making his own decisions.
It appears to me that the reason many here are going nuts over his actions aren't the fact that he sold ... or even the fact that he told people he sold. It is that he sold and held back the reason. That tells me that he was indeed a well respected opinion leader. People are upset because they have no reasons for his unexpected "180" behavior. If he posted his reasons, I doubt there would be this level of anger or consternation.
