This is the entire point.

The other markers are terrible!

Recaf will not make the other marker(s) any better. It will only improve the end result. In some cases it will confirm the other marker in others it will contradict the other marker(s) result.

Look at the reason though...
Does the patient have cancer? Yes or no...

If CEA says yes and Recaf says yes then it is likely that you just narrowed down where the cancer is located.

If CEA says no and Recaf says yes...then the patient most likely has cancer and the CEA most likely showed a false negative.
