That is a very misleading statement. Not all pink sheet issuers are scams. There are a number of Pink Sheet issuers that actually pay quarterly cash dividends such as AMNF. Some are foreign large cap companies. The problem is that it takes a very experienced investor to navigate the pink sheet market safely. The vast majority of pink sheet companies talked about on message boards are companies who are being targeted to a group of investors who lack experience in making sound decisions.

Simply put, any pink sheet company that gets heavily touted through spam promotion and message boards are typically not good investments. To say all pink sheet companies are scams however is a bit naive.
