somebody ran a story about medicare fraud. some convicted murderer got a medicare distributors license and billed for almost a million dollars before they were caught.

but systemic abuse is worse. how many walkers and mechanized strollers do we need? every medicare budget change is made by lobbying groups who push for a little of that and a little of this. now you cant get a product covered unless you lobby and this increases the cost.

and you can get products covered which have no or little value.
