it was played down so much that the numbers that you quote are about five times smaller than the number that were likely there. To the extent you dont beleive me , this is the extent that it was played down.

personal reports and quotes I heard were obtained from park service give numbers from 400 to 800000. the crowd walked for three hours just to march down the mall and filled up side streets.

this is another example of how do we know what is real
