Here's my theory. This is no MM play. What we have is a large investor who has directed his broker, "1. Buy up to x number of shares. X is likely in the hundreds of thousands.and 2. Buy them right. Take anything offered less than $1. until you accumulate X.
He (or his broker) is very disciplined, and probably making wise use of limit buys.
Enjoy the stability while it lasts. Anticipation of an (dare I say it?) imminent announcement isn't driving this. It's likely one or two accumulators. Now, if sellers at less than a buck dry up, we'll likely see a very slow increase in SP until he has X. Obviously we have had sufficient sellers who see an opportunity to cash in on shares they bought @ .31 - .81 A 25%+ appreciation is nothing to sneeze at. (Unless you suspect there is something altogether different coming at us.)
