Also, T-mobile is expanding their 3G/wifi product line which now includes the Google MyTouch phone. The Iphone 3Gs is now Wifi capable, and I hear that the next version of the Blackberry Storm will include Wifi capablility. This brings Verizon and AT&T into the dual mode market. No doubt the smart phone dual/mode trend is only beginning.
The providers have been been avoiding the wifi option for a long time because of revenue issues, but the market demands it and in the end the free market always wins. Also, with the coming mobile tsunami Jim Cramer has been talking about, wifi enabled phones could be the holy grail that addresses, at least for a while, the bandwidth issues. You only have to read about the issues that AT&T has been having with the Iphone and 3G bandwidth log jams.
The question is does CLYW have the resources and the will to ride this out to its potential. Time will tell whether it will be able to overcome all the mismanagement this company went through and the damage it caused. Hopefully CLYW will prevail because the technology will trump the previous keystone cop-like management teams. IMO
