The GetFugu platform will be available for 97% of the mobile phones available (over 3.3 billion handsets) worldwide.

With those kind of numbers, I'm guessing they realized they wouldn't need the capitol from other sources.... I know if it was me, I would do everything I could to keep outside interest/investment to a minimum....
