The many personal disagreements were most unfortunate with too many deteriorating into serious disputes. I am more of the school of "can't we all just get along". Maybe it was not always possible. All the players contributed in their own way. Also the "founders" did, of course. I think the biggest setback was my posited falling through of the underpinning (finances?) of Skolnick's grand plan to manufacture vaccines in large quantities. Still vague on this posited setback so difficult to assess whether it was just bad luck or a risky error in judgement. Could things have been salvaged after that point with different leadership? I tend to doubt it but who knows?
