I don't think the specific p value will have much impact on the PPS. There are basic two situations that can occur in my opinion:

1. The p value is statistically significant and the PPS will pop huge, assuming endpoints are also met. (But it won't have anything to do with how statistically significant the p value is. Maybe it would have an impact if it's right at .05, but otherwise I don't think so. Investors want to make money and they aren't going to nitpick.)

2. The p value is NOT statistically significant and the PPS will drop hard.
