I try to find the truth in all things, even these message boards. What chaps me more than just about anything else is the way we've all been indoctrinated to suppress freedom of speech by attacking those who disagree with us and labeling them as racist or fanatic or any other label you choose. It is the responsibility of both the speaker or writer and the listener or reader to try to understand the other party and the message that is being communicated. That can be very difficult at times due to our imperfect language and poor communication skills.

I try to keep in mind all the variables when studying the bible, and feel I understand it quite well, but that doesn't mean I can convey that understanding in a post on a message board, especially one that is interrupted by my family's more urgent needs....
