Think about it this way...right now Lowes and Home Depot each carry about four cabinet styles in stock for immediate sale. Each of those styles come in maybe 10 different size cabinets. Let's say that they stock five pieces of each size and face frame style and that each of those consume twelve cubic feet of floor space. That would mean that their stock cabinets eat up 2,400 cubic feet of floor space just for their selling stock. The display cabinets take up more space.
With the ETC line they could carry maybe two carcasses of each size and four face frames of each style, thereby reducing their needed inventory space by what...80%? That's enormous in retail.
