... I don't think that price had anything to do with current endeavors ... but I could be wrong.
One would have to look at the outstanding share count back then to see what the company was actually being valued at versus today.
Plus, remember, that timeframe was still in part of the dotcom bubble wasn't it? When stocks had crazy valuations? I'm not sure saying the stock was "worth" $14.50 is actually the correct terminology.
