"Why patent something if it is not going to be excepted by the ones it is intended to be sold too...makes perfect sense to me..."

They DIDN'T patent it... they spent $220 to file a provisional patent... they have 1 year to actually file a real patent!

Not sure about you, but $220 is a nice dinner out, not a commitment to a product line...
