One other note is that the depth we are going is only around 10000 feet and I think the water depth is about 4000 feet or so. Therefore we are only drilling about 6000 feet. Once the drilling is started offshore it is no more difficult than drilling in shallow water or even on land. The extra expense lies in getting in position and the preparation to get to the actual drilling (running marine riser, latching on and such...).

Personally I would suspect that the wells have either been drilled to TD by now. I am surprised that there hasn't been any leaks. At least from the Addax well as I imagine the Chinese will be much more tight-lipped than Addax will. Also, I would have expected some bigger price moves due to that fact. I sure hope we get some this week, on the upside that is.
