every day thousand of products at retailers across the nation go on clearance, because they didnt sell. yet the company that brought it to market likely thought they had a home run, spent a bunch to get it on the shelf, yet it didnt go over.
not saying that is the case here, but I know for sure just because it is in the store doesnt mean it sells.
Ever heard of "New Coke", the Apple Newton, Crystal Pepsi... major companies, bright ideas, total failure. Apparently retailers didnt sell those.
