program-4-you: I see you have done a lot of creative thought on the use of vertical spaces for growing algae. Perhaps you should begin your own company to compete in the algae field. It IS still wide open--even though we in this group would like to think that BEHL just about has all the parts wrapped up.

One thing that I think you are missing from your vertical algae growing system. Algae are like plants (I DO know there is a debate whether they are plants or not). They need lots of light to convert carbon dioxide to the molecules they need to grow. If you can find a way to use your proposed system and give them access to cheap light--you may have a winner! By the way, it seems to me hard to compete with sunlight as a cheap light source.
