If you really want to put yourself in the shoes of the CEO.....here's what I would do if I was him and I was backed into the corner he backed himself into.

I'm ceo, I issued over a billion of shares my shareholders don't know about. I've done everything in my power to not give out the new shares O/S count because if I do it's all over no one will ever trust me again. Was so desperate not to disclose this I even let them give my ticker an E. Best move is to go pinks, not disclose shares O/S and reverse split my float way down so it becomes more manageable (Easy to manipulate). Then when I control the bulk of the float again, I can start firing off tons of news from the pinks, run my stock again.....dilute again into the buying and get my gravy train running again.
