Oilphant posted last evening:

"2 ships 3 distinct wells drilled how they going to explain that?"

Interesting...as I recall his post about more than one well being drilled in block 1 via Chevron. Pup somewhat supported this conjecture with his recent comment:

"CVX had both top hole problems and had to side track the well (kick out of the main well bore)in the intermedate hole above the estimated production zone."

A Chinese article quoting Sinopec had also mentioned "multiple boreholes" being drilled in JDZ block 1.

Mark....maybe your JDA sources were correct when they were telling you several times (and being 110% certain) they would begin drilling in the JDZ on July 1'st. It might be interesting to double check with them.

If I had to take a gander....I would guess IF IF IF drilling did commence on July 1.....it took place in B-3. Based on the results, APC sold their interest to Addax. Sinopec then took possession of the Sedco later in August (takes 45 days to drill a well with this rig) and moved it to B-2. Just conjecture.

Based on the timing of events.....I again "suspect" Oilphant missed this call made on 9-15-09 (see link below) by only a matter of days:

"ERHC News Alert: Big news today!"

The buying yesterday appeared to be "pre-news" driven. Somebody decided it was important to buy shares....and didn't care to slowly accumulate....and this was followed, of course, by traders. When the buyer finished loading.....it drifted back. All done on a 738 million shares being traded.

Headed out of state for a long weekend. Exciting events coming IMHO.
