Reid,
re: ssti
i have owned shares in ssti for quite some time
as you probably know, they are in flash memory sector, and took a 'hit' after bleak forward guidance from sndk
i have no idea whether ssti will also dissapoint in the same way. as i understand, they are more in 'low end' flash memory
i re-entered ssti also this week after having all my shares called away on jan option expiry
i too like the company, but am cautious here...
questions in my mind:
1. will they guide to slow (or nil) growth like sndk for the next 2 qrts?
2. why did they delay their earnings announcement?
3. in the past (last 2 reports at least) they pre-announced spectacular earnings, but haven't this time
on the other hand, the share price may already reflect dissapointment, since it declined in reaction to the sndk report
anyway, i'm watching them like a hawk, would like to see a small run this week. i will probably sell before earnings report, which is scheduled for feb 1
:o)
