Here's what Grassroots research says about that interplay of companies
and the patents.

In October 2008, Magnum collaborated with Malaysia based Sekhar
Research Innovations Sdn Bhd
(SRI) to develop next generation rubber processing aids and a range of
custom multi application
compounds. Magnum has obtained exclusive licensing rights to the
patents, process technology, and
trade secrets of SRI.


The Company now has a patented process through which waste
rubber (tires and like materials) are reduced to a powdery substance
in industrial quantities between 0 and 100
microns. This process not only provides a new and expansive
methodology for the recycling of rubber, but allows for
the further production of Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs) up to 40%
below current production cost.
