Acorn has received $54 million since 1994, and this is subsidised or paid through HUD............according to CNN. Over a 15 year period this amounts to just under $4 million per year, paid for by US taxpayers dollars. When did the taxpayer vote for this kind of govt allocation?, is this something the census bureau should take the responsiblity for, or should our State elected officials?

Another source says their is little to no transparency for how this money is used?.............

The biggest question of all is, "should the country pay for a special interest group or organization who serves its own best interest?".........We already have a Census Bureau, and anyone can do an absentee ballot. Its obvious to me that Hud should be eliminated, but its organzations such as this who are its biggest supporters.
