DANBURY, Conn., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solomon Technologies, Inc. (Other OTC: SOLM - News) announced today that its Technipower subsidiary has received its latest certificate of registration for the ISO 9000: 2008 Quality Management System specification for its Danbury plant. Technipower operates two ISO certified facilities in Danbury, Connecticut and in Reynosa, Mexico. The Danbury facility is also government certified for certain military power applications.

Technipower has also leased additional manufacturing space near its headquarters in Connecticut to accommodate anticipated growth in its marine propulsion and solar PV products. The Company recently launched its new Instant Solar(TM) product line and is preparing for the reintroduction of its Solomon(®) Marine Propulsion line.

Dan Connors, President of Technipower said, "While we are proud of meeting the latest level of ISO certification, it's only a small part of the story. The more significant issue is the expansion of our Danbury facility to support our growth strategy in the renewable energy markets."
