I think MAHI has it right. The issues with heavy counter tops and plumbing are also significant. This isn't really a system for the average homeowner, especially if he needs to rip out existing cabinets.

I don't think there was conspiracy of shorting to tank the pps today. The reality is that the product is not an earth shaking game changer -- at least not to the tune of $100M anytime soon, if ever.

I was surprised they already has sales for the product since it wasn't supposed to be released until today. The $14K was not really an issue. I think the market acceptance is the big question and I'm not convinced this is going to be a market killer. Once they start reporting some sales figures, we'll see who's right. But I don't think it made a good first impression.
