The one thing to think about is why they would announce the reverse split so far in advance. I believe they have something up their sleeve because they could have waited until the 10 k was filed and announce it in the 10k.

from the sec web sight: "If a company is required to file reports with the SEC, it may notify its shareholders of a reverse stock split on Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K."
