NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Zevotek, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ZVTK - News) (Frankfurt:T5VI - News), a designer, developer, and worldwide direct marketer and distributor of innovative personal and home care items, announced today the company's first shipment of Ionic Bulbs to MediaShop AG, www.mediashop.tv, a direct marketer to nearly 100 million people in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Zevotek's Ionic Bulb is designed for consumer use by combining the performance features of ionic air cleaning technology with those of a 10,000 hour reduced energy use compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL).

MediaShop is choosing to market Zevotek's Ionic Bulb to take advantage of demand in Europe for products that save energy and clean the air. The 50% market share for compact fluorescent light bulbs in Germany is expected to grow now that European Union rules ban certain incandescent bulbs and will ban most incandescent bulbs by 2012. MediaShop produced a TV infomercial that features the Ionic Bulb and presents the Bulb's excellent value and performance to TV and Internet audiences across Europe. Zevotek is supplying MediaShop with today's announced initial shipment of bulbs and looks forward to additional orders.
