I never doubted that hydrocarbons would be discovered in every single JDZ well. What worried me was if they would exist in commercial quantities.

It seems to me that a Chinese company would be more likely than a U.S. company (or any other co. answerable to stockholders) to develop a marginal field, if only as a strategic reserve. Of course SNP is at least quasi-private co, but it seems at least partially at the bidding of Chinese national interests.

This leaves me a bit more optimistic about our prospects.
