Hi TF

Been gone since '88, Lived there from '79, so was there for all of Gretsky's NHL years and all those Grey Cups. :) Are you a lifelong resident?

I can see the Convention Centre, it's just a little streak showing above whatever I was mentioning. Of course the brickyard was there, but it was just a brickyard!

Somehow I don't think that's Riverdale in the foreground, but we'll wait to see what Frank says. If it is then the Dawson bridge is out of sight just to the right. And if that's the case then the trees sure have grown. I had a six month option on a vacant lot in '82 backing onto the river about six lots south of the bridge. A friend of mine lived a few doors south also backing onto the river and there were no trees between the river and the houses back then. I was a Property Investment Manager with Sun Life but even with a substantial discount with a staff mortgage it didn't make sense to build when rates were 22% LOL. And then just before the option expired there was a flood! Just after I left, one of my friends bought a lot in Cloverdale on the street with houses on one side only right next to the Muttart. He still calls it Mortgage Manor.
