Hi Richard,
Its good to hear from you. Downside risk is that i miss next upside move. I have decided that i am willing to take that risk over the risk of blowing any more money in this market, particularly at my age. I proved on the Amat thread that i have no skill at this, so if i can get out at 1500 and back in at 1100 i will consider that a huge win. In any case if 1500 becomes 1700, there still will be opportunities and i kind of buy into this secular bear stuff re: valuations with caveats such as demographics and low interest rates. In the end goal is out at 1500, back in at 1100 hopefully for a bear market big rally a la nov-jan last year to 2000 and out again or some steps in out along the way. mike@usedtobepermabull.com

PS i laughed at brinkers slightly premature call in 2000 as i racked up my final gains in bubble. He is an arrogant sob and was very wrong with the qqqs. He is a prick but i would be a happy camper today if i had listened in 2000.
