Arca was called the Archipelago, (the word Archipelago dates to Greece and Rome)an independent electronic trading exchange. Approved by the NYSE. Their software offers direct access to the NYSE. Arca is used when foreign investors seek to buy in our market, Arca is used when we buy from foreign markets.
