InterDigital FDD Protocol Stack Technology to Be Utilized by Infineon-Huawei WCDMA Mobile Phone Platform
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2003--InterDigital Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:IDCC - News), a leading architect, designer and provider of wireless technology and product platforms, today announced that its Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) protocol stack technology, a component of InterDigital's complete WCDMA solution, will be utilized by Infineon Technologies AG (Infineon) in solutions to be provided to Huawei Technologies (Huawei) under their recently announced partnership.
Under its joint development relationship with Infineon, begun in March 2001, InterDigital provides portions of Infineon's FDD protocol stack for wireless terminal devices. In accordance with that agreement, InterDigital would receive royalties on a per unit basis for baseband components sold by Infineon to Huawei that include the jointly developed FDD protocol stack.
"We congratulate Infineon and Huawei on their recent announcement," said Howard Goldberg, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We look forward to contributing to their success, as well as the overall success of 3G wireless in China. clinton was lying before he took office with his campaign slogan, "it's the economy, stupid".....when clinton took office, the economy already had two quarters of economic growth under its belt......higher taxes NEVER cause economic growth.........and taking hundreds of billions of dollars out of military spending?....well we know the vulnerabilities that lead to.............take a look at a chart of the naz, the dow, and interest rates in clinton's first two years, and remember bill cluelessly telling us, "11 years, no 8 years, no 10 years"..........after decades of uncontrolled spending, it wasn't until the market saw that a new, fiscally responsible congress was coming to town, that spending was finally going to be under control, that the real bull took off.....when?....november '94........the charts and historical statistics don't lie
