Independent Thinking

Today we live in the world of cyberspace and its glorious opinions and views laced with redundant cheerleading and hype or witch-hunting and bash. Also when those are the norms, then the small few that have an underlying basis and solid information are incasts or outcasts because it is "KUDOS" if it is positive and "OH LORD SCUMBAG MORON" if it is remotely negative.

To know for sure, if a possible reasonable negative that cannot be answered soon it will be followed by attacking the messenger with any possible twisted information possible. Facts and an underlying basis are enemies to the pumpers/cheerleaders or the witch-hunters/bashers because you wont do as they say and load up with your money or sell out completely. Independent thought causes you to make considerations on your own merit and not theirs. This is a sin on the Internet especially in the arena of trading stocks.

The internet is nothing more than a glorified lip service from someone that could be nothing more that renting bowling alleys to kids that hide under concealed aliases or a moron like me. However, thinking for yourself is prohibited and some refuse to want to particularly encourage it because it goes against their agenda for people to buy, buy, buy or sell, sell, sell. Instead they want us to live in a cyber-culture in which irrational, uncritical conformity of thought is to be the norm and accepted:

Hypsters, cheerleaders, witch-hunters, bashers and so forth demand unquestioning obedience and fail terribly in their responsibility to encourage independent thought or rationalization. These types play off publicizing their moral values or the ability to stand up for their beliefs thus protecting their credibility, (Now there is an oxymoron) but you dare not do the same. It is a do as I do or think as I think and if you don't you shall be punished in personal attacks and character assassinations.

People that fail to teach themselves to apply critical thinking fall prey to obedience and mindless memorization of supposed facts or innuendos of another voice on line redundantly driving home their buy, buy buy or sell, sell, sell message. (Just a mere pump depending on which side of the coin their agenda is on.)

If you dare think independently then your are consider to have outdated behavior and values not to mention that you are both individually and socially destructive to yourself and their investment or agenda.

Cheerleaders/Hypsters or Witch-hunters/Bashers that manipulate the Internet media will express falsehoods routinely to cover up their misdoings and do anything to get buying or selling into a stock by post redundantly what ever focus they are trying to work.

Cheerleaders/Hypsters or Witch-hunters/Bashers always present biased information and superficial "information" because if you ask a reasonable question or challenge any information you are scum of the earth and you will be attacked and assassinated.
Thus these types resort to unanswerable questions, personal attacks about gender, age, racial, ethnic, geographical locations and even friend (cyber or real world) thus portraying violence and stupidity as an acceptable solution to the stock's problems, which unfocuses off the stock and on to your reasoning and thoughts to kill the credibility of your question, post and facts.

These types will also offer free advise and simplistic solutions to your complex personal problems not to mention great financial advise like BUY! or SELL!

They refuse to yield to demands and questions no matter what rights get trampled in their wake of personal bashing because anything goes to get the buying or selling so the price of the stock will go up or down depending on the agenda.

They will also used any type of intimidation, censorship, threat and force of law at their disposal to silence any independent thought that goes against their agenda.

It is a Grim picture I know, but not a hopeless cause nor the end of civilization as we know it. The Internet is getting more and more savvy in reading and interpreting the forces that post. More and more individuals, are making valuable contributions to rational and independent thinking. Due Diligence is always under fire by speculation, innuendo and assumptions, which by the way are not up holdable in a court of law even if stated with the truest of convictions. Most are consider pumpers and bashers but they strive forward anyway.

The goal of each investor is to bring together these "pieces of the puzzle" and provide yourself with information you can use to:

* become more independent of what you see and hear before you invest your hard earned money question all assumptions, beliefs, and values and make sure you have a solid underlying basis for what you believe to be irrational and rational

* become more skilled at standing up for your beliefs while still being tolerant and fair-minded about the beliefs of others however for this you will get flamed and personally attacked.
encourage everyone to think for themselves prior to investing hard earned money.

* Step up to the plate and become more active in the struggle for rational, critical and independent thinking to be acceptable and not support the belittlement of someone who merely asks a question or is being lambasted by ridiculous unanswerable questions.

The constitution and the freedom of speech right is designed so we don't always agree with each other nor do we always agree with the speakers and writers both positive or negative on a stock. That's as it should be. If everyone agreed, not much independent thinking would get done and we all would be nothing but sheep for the fleecing .

"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you like everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." - e. e. cummings "A Poet's Advice to Students"

When questions are not answered (aside for unanswerable questions) and personal attacks reign, you have to ask yourself what about the question was so disturbing. You also have to wonder is this personal attacker hiding something they do not want brought out. Have they been exposed and now out to unfocus? Remember, once you buy into it, (Hype, story or personal attacks) you can loose your backside in a heartbeat not to mention your supposed credibility..

The bottom line is to do the due diligence and know why you own the security. Be able to answer questions on that security from your own due diligence. Taking the word or story of someone else or their due diligence is not a good idea when it is used to replaced or substitute your own due diligence. Use common sense!
