The Office of Malaga has denounced the Russian tycoon Ernest Malyshev, owner of the luxury hotel Los Monteros, Marbella, for an alleged crime against the rights of workers. The prosecution accuses him of provoking a conflict with their workers' unpaid wages, the absence of a feasibility plan for the company and the initiation of various files of employment regulation.

The complaint is based on the business end of the resort of Marbella

The indictment, the first setback of Malyshev with Spanish justice, is based mainly on the unilateral order of closure of the June 4 given by the tycoon. Also been taken into account the continuing obstacles that have suffered the works council to act or even meet. Malyshev fired, allegedly for no reason, its chairman, Jose Garcia Osorio. If successful the prosecutor's complaint, Malyshev could face up to three years in prison.

The prosecution wants also to investigate the managerial framework that underlies the posh resort of Marbella. Hotel Los Monteros was owned by two companies: Investment Aljoda SL and Investment Dajoal S.L. They controlled a third company, Las Dunas Land Ltd., which operated the hotel. On 3 December last year the company that presides Malyshev, North West Oil, acquired the three companies.

The 183 workers in Los Monteros, who at first welcomed the arrival of the employer to the decadent state of the complex, now eager to ask his way though the hotel however Malyshev unable to speculate with the land.
