Feedback from my friend who went to the show.

He went to the show and went by the ESRG a few times during the day. Huge hall and tons of people. The first time he went by he said that it looked like someone at the booth was being interviewed by someone with bright lights and video camera--said it looked professional, but there was not a TV station log on the camera or anything.

He came back later and there were plenty of people at the booth. Saw 6 people manning the booth (double booth actually). ESRG was highlighting their solar energy systems and their other services like cabling. My friend just listened in on the questions from people. He did overhear what, in his opinion, were motivated inquirers because they wanted the company to contact them later. Cards exchanged etc. He saw that three times in 15-20 minutes.

The third time he went by it was near the end of the day and he spoke to Chris Quinn and just asked about the solar energy business in general and how busy they were. He said that the guy was "pumped" about how the show went and that they had alot of what he would call "warm" leads for followup. Quinn said that the tax credits offered motivates people and companies to make decisions before the end of the year and judging by the activity, they will be busy.

I asked my friend if he asked Quinn who had interviewed him, but he said he forgot to ask.

FWIW, but I like the marketing push. Now if they can only tell us in a PR of some contract closings.
