ATLANTA, GA -- 09/08/09 -- LIGATT Security International (LSI) (PINKSHEETS: LGTT) CEO Gregory Evans announced today the company will begin hosting continuous free cyber security awareness interactive webcasts during October, which is National Cyber Security Awareness month.

National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) is a collaborative initiative of a broad array of industry, government, academic, non-profit and other organizations. National Cyber Security Awareness Month, observed in October and organized by the National Cyber Security Alliance, is an intensive awareness movement targeting consumers, small businesses, educators and children. NCSAM focuses on raising awareness of the importance of computer security and educating users, particularly those listed above, about practices and technologies they can use to protect themselves online. The objective is to improve the state of computer security for individual users, our information networks and our nation as a whole.

Beginning Tuesday, October 6, 2009, LIGATT will host live interactive webcasts on Tuesdays on a weekly basis. Webcast participants can look forward to discussing identity theft awareness on the first Tuesday of each month, computer hacking on the second Tuesday of each month, email phishing and online scams on the third Tuesday of each month and cyber bullying on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Participants can feel free to ask questions and convey real life scenarios and anticipate receiving superior cyber security expert advice and suggestions in return. Details on registering for each interactive webcast will be given on a later date.

"LIGATT Security isn't limiting cyber security awareness to just the month of October. Instead we are going to continue our interactive webcast campaign every Tuesday, on a weekly basis, until the end of the year. We are looking forward to providing consumers, businesses and our youth with access to tips, toolkits and other online resources to learn about computer security essentials needed to be fully protected online, at all times. Given the sudden increase in cyber crimes due to the economic climate, we felt it was important to offer our customers and webcasts participants the opportunity to receive preventative tips, suggestions and measures on a continuous basis," says Evans.
