Sanmina-SCI and OneChip Photonics Announce Optical Manufacturing Partnership

SAN JOSE, Calif. and OTTAWA, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sanmina-SCI Corporation (Nasdaq NM: SANM - News, SANMD - News), a leading global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, and OneChip Photonics, an emerging supplier of low-cost, high-performance optical transceivers, today announced a manufacturing partnership to produce OneChip Photonics' breakthrough Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC)-based Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) transceivers.
