Frog: You said....

"Perhaps, but the lack of interest, by the market in the applied for patents, would seem to indicate otherwise."

Of course that is simply your own empty supposition, unfounded opinion, stretch of the imagination kind of statement that's easy to say and hard to prove...

Or do you have something very specific to share (references, links, etc..) that show the market is fully aware of DNAP's patents, has considered them indepth, and decided they have no value as you so clearly indicate...?

Please do share your valuable DD on your firm pronouncement of the worthless nature of DNAP's patents.

Otherwise, all you have offered is your simple opinion...which I do disagree with.

Not that I don't value your opinion, but I would value them more if you provided some facts or links to substantiate your claims about the market's awareness and perceptions of DNAP having patents with no value...

On the other hand, Ming and others have provided quite a number of research papers that are beginning to reference AIM's, and some directly referencing DNAP in the research literature, indicating the critical importance of DNAP's discoveries with ancestry markers.

Also, please do remember that there are only a FINITE number of markers (major and lesser markers for any particular drug/disease are quite limited), and all DNAP needs to do is to find the MAJOR genetic markers in each case to lock up the patents for a particular drug/disease response. Because of the complexity of the analysis for markers, most likely you need to use the MAJOR markers to find any lesser related markers...and ADMIXMAP IS finding the most critical MAJOR genetic markers.

Meanwhile, until you can provide some proof of your opinion, I much prefer to give weight to the value research scientists have for the important use of AIM's....more so than any uninformed market...which may or may not appropriately be attributed to the current pps...but NOT to the potential value of DNAP's patents...

JMHO of course.

God Bless and take care,

Robert
