Sorry for the noob question, as I'm sure this has been covered ad nauseam, but this board is so prolific I'm having trouble sifting through the posts to find this answer:

What is/are the main strategy(ies) to setting the SPNG GTC sell price so high?

A while back I read that it would keep the MMs from "borrowing" your shares they were shorting (for those with margin accounts). Now I'm wondering if it also has something to do with catching the MOASS on the way up.

Your thoughts?
