Here's my Story...

The price action on ATNP today indicated a lot of confusion about whether the price was pre or post split. If it was post split it was way up, if it was pre split it was way down. I am convinced it was post split based on 2 calls to etrade and due to the symbol change from ATNO to ATNP as well as a few message board folks who said they had the shares in their account.

I had 400K shares that I had accumulated at an average of .03. Noticing that the price was bouncing around 1/5 of that, instead of 1/10 as it should have been, I called etrade and convinced them to let me sell my shares. So I sold 4,000,000 shares throughout the day at an average of .0068 = $27,200. My investment was 400,000 at an average .03 = $12,000, so I am up $15,200 less about $160 commission (20 sales to move them all)

So now, my account is showing like I am short 3,600,000 shares (the 4,000,000 I sold today, less the 400,000 that were actually in my account) Once the split shares land in my account, that will "cover" the short and I'll be whole.

I was afraid that as the market is flooded with 10x the float over the next few trading days that the price will deteriorate. Since there were virtually no shares for sale today, the price fluctuated wildly. My 4,000,000 shares were 15% of the total volume today!

Worst case, if for some reason, the shares don't show up in a few days, I'll have to cover them, at what I'm now hoping will be a lower pps....
