brian - if you check most stocks, and also major indeces, you will see a lot of the same thing.

Generally, people hear about a stock, place a market order at night, or limit order at the ask, the traders take early morning profits, then either buyback, or others buy in at the lower prices, then the market does what it will do the rest of the day, afer about 10:30...other than the almost always lunch time selloff.

That 9:30 to 10:30 timeframe is sometimes called amateur hour, although the real trading pros make serious coin that first hour.
