There are ways. The pressure is increasing. Few if any shorts at this time are in the money.
Data in the 10-K will increase the pressure.
The 10-Q will increase it quite a bit more in my opinion.
News of a new product line will increase it, and news we may not have thought of may bring it to the breaking point.
Of course an uplisting will seal the deal... but these guys (short position holders) aren't stupid. I believe they can easily afford to lose on this one, what they can't afford is to have the light of day shown on them, so it is in there best interest to cover prior to any uplisting.
Now the question myself and very astute investors I'm speaking to are asking themselves is; "Where will these shares they need to cover come from?"
