Durability and quality jumps out at me right off the bat. We have all seen the duct tape on the BEHL PBR.
Surely someone shares my concern here on this.
Now I have HEARD people (and I can't remember who) say that this is only a pilot and thus nothing to worry about cosmetically. But, we have never seen a plan for the final product that they are really selling that I can recall? I have never seen a real answer to the durability of the PBR.
When I compare the BEHL PBR to the other closed loop systems, there is a glaringly obvious concern. However, that is likely what gives BEHL the "WalMart" moniker.
Based off what we have seen from those other companies, it is clear there is quite a bit of funding that goes into those companies allowing them to build so much more structurally impressive PBR's.
There is much discussion of the turns, and the relative costs (which is why the China manufacturing is important), but it isn't the turns that are questionable durability wise to me. It is the tubing that looks susceptible to durability problems.
