Early Good Morning "paid", I have no idea why the generator is there. However, I can truthfully say that our power supply is iffy sometimes. I know the power went off in Milford a couple of weeks ago. It goes off here in Beaver at odd intervals. High winds; a power pole gets hit by lightning, or knocked down by a vehicle, all these things happen around here! The hospital and the jail,and the one and only grocery store here all have backup generators. I can imagine what a power outage would do to the mill! Just that one burnt out motor, months ago, caused a great deal of havoc!
By the way, the diner is about 2 miles from the RR up on a hill west of town. I think you can catch a glimpse of the RR tracks, coming in from the south, from the diner parking lot!IMO/Candy B
