I have no idea whether I am right or not but I think it makes sense. Sunncomm techical staff can't devote the time because of the rampup , implementation they developed MM5 , the testing and needed presentation and integrations if that technology. That is why it was turned over to University of Miami to work on and finalize if possible.
I don't think it to be a dead issue, but anything like that is possible!
