Today, Addax (Sinopec) owns 43% of the oil in blocks 2, 3 and 4. ERHE owns 19%. If Sinopec decides to buy ERHE, they will own 62% instead of 43% of the oil in the 3 blocks, an increase of 44%. They will produce the supplementary 44% without any incremental investment in drillships, FSPO's, people, material, etc. In addition, there will be probable oil in 3 other JDZ blocks plus 4 STP EEZ blocks.
Hope the chinese see things this way too when the first drilling results are available.
