The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, a Connecticut Innovations initiative encouraging alternative-energy use, in July restarted its residential solar panel rebate program once federal stimulus dollars came through, said Emily Smith, Connecticut Innovations' managing director of external relations.
"Solar power is very, very popular," she said, adding that 40 applications have been received and the commercial grant program should recommence in about a week.
"Funding from the federal stimulus package is allowing us to restart both programs."
This makes it sound like Emily Smith made all these comments. Do you agree? Actually sounds like she's talking about her organization and NOT Solomon/Technipower. Hrmm... poorly written article I think.
